Membrane Properties

The polyethylene membrane inside is extremely fine, filtering out particles and germs from 0.01 µm (such as rust and bacteria) and clarifying the water by removing particles larger than 0.01 micron.

SUPER HIGH GRADE filtration capacity

Filters up to 13 chemical substances, including

1. Turbidity – Thoroughly filters out sediment carried in the water, such as rust, mercury, and bacteria
2. Chlorine – Used to kill bacteria and microorganisms in water, but it makes the water taste worse
3. Trihalomethanes – Formed when organic matter in tap water combines with chlorine; a carcinogen
4. Bromodichloromethane – A type of trihalomethane, and a carcinogen
5. Dibromochloromethane – A type of trihalomethane, and a carcinogen
6. Bromoform – A type of trihalomethane, and a carcinogen
7. Mold odor – Removes unpleasant odors from water
8. Agricultural chemicals – Seep in from farm produce grown for quantity rather than quality, through the use of pesticides
9. Trichloroethylene – A chemical used in industrial plants. All 3 of these substances affect liver and kidney function and are carcinogenic
10. Tetrachloroethylene – A chemical used in industrial plants. All 3 of these substances affect liver and kidney function and are carcinogenic
11. Chloroform – A type of trihalomethane, and a carcinogen
12. Lead contamination – Harmful to health; it can pass to an unborn baby and affect learning development
13. 1,1,1 Trichloroethane – A chemical used in industrial plants. All 3 of these substances affect liver and kidney function and are carcinogenic
