Filtration capacity BASIC

Removes up to 10 types of impurities:

1. Turbidity – Thoroughly filters out sediment carried in the water, such as rust, mercury, and bacteria
2. Chlorine – Used to kill bacteria and microorganisms in water, but it makes the water taste worse
3. Trihalomethanes – Formed when organic matter in tap water combines with chlorine; a carcinogen
4. Bromodichloromethane – A type of trihalomethane, and a carcinogen
5. Dibromochloromethane – A type of trihalomethane, and a carcinogen
6. Bromoform – A type of trihalomethane, and a carcinogen
7. Mold odor – Removes unpleasant odors from water
8. Agricultural chemicals – Seep in from farm produce grown for quantity rather than quality, through the use of pesticides
9. Trichloroethylene – A chemical used in industrial plants. All 3 of these substances affect liver and kidney function and are carcinogenic

The polyethylene membrane inside has ultra-fine pores that filter out particles and germs (such as rust and bacteria) as small as 0.01 µm, leaving your water clearer.
