Cleansui Faucet-Mounted Water Purifiers
Turn tap water into clean drinking water. Easy to install, cheaper than bottled water, clean and safe.
What Is a Faucet-Mounted Water Purifier?
A faucet-mounted water purifier, also called a faucet water filter, is a small purifier that fits onto the end of your existing kitchen faucet. Turn on the tap and you get clean water for drinking and cooking right away, with no counter drilling, no plumbing, and no electricity.
Mitsubishi Cleansui faucet-mounted water purifiers are made in Japan. They use a 0.01 micron hollow fiber membrane cartridge working together with activated carbon to filter out sediment, rust, bacteria, chlorine, and odors, while keeping the minerals naturally present in the water. Water from the unit is ready to drink without boiling.

- 900 L per cartridge, or about 3 months at 10 L a day
- 1.6 L/min filtered water flow rate
- 0.01 micron pore size of the hollow fiber membrane
- DIY installation with fittings for most faucets in Thailand included in the box
Compare Every Cleansui Faucet-Mounted Water Purifier
Every model filters 900 liters per cartridge at a flow rate of 1.6 liters per minute, and switches between filtered water and tap water on the unit. They differ in cartridge grade (the number of substances removed under Japan’s JIS S 3201 standard) and in the unit’s features.
| Model | Cartridges | What it removes | Highlight |
|---|---|---|---|
| EF101 | EFC11 | 17 substances (Super High Grade) | LCD counts down the remaining water volume |
| EF103 | EFC11 | 17 substances (Super High Grade) | Large display, measures water in milliliters (CC mode) |
| EF102 | EFC11 | 17 substances (Super High Grade) | LCD cartridge replacement reminder |
| EF201 | EFC21 | 17 substances (Super High Grade) | Filter can be mounted on the left or right |
| EF301 | EFC31 | 11 substances (High Standard) | Compact, NSF certified |
| EF401 | EFC41W | 10 substances (Basic) | Entry-level model, compact, NSF certified |
Which Faucet-Mounted Water Purifier Should You Choose?
- You want the top filtration level (17 substances) and to know how much cartridge life is left: choose the EF101 or EF103, whose display counts down from 900 liters. The EF103 also measures water in milliliters, which is handy when making baby formula or cooking.
- You want 17 substances at a lower price: the EF201 has no display but has a window for checking the cartridge, and the filter can sit on the left or right of the faucet.
- You want a small size and an entry-level price for a dorm or rental room: the EF301 or EF401, compact units certified by NSF.
The box includes several types of fittings that cover most faucets in Thailand. If your faucet is an unusual type, send a photo of the faucet tip to our team via LINE @cleansuithailand so we can check before you order.

Faucet-Mounted, Countertop, or Built-In: What’s the Difference?
| Type | Installation | Per cartridge | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Faucet mounted | Fits onto the end of your existing faucet, no drilling | 900 L | Condos, dorms, rental homes, small families |
| Counter top | Sits beside the sink, connected to your existing faucet | 8,000 liters | Families who use a lot of water for drinking and cooking |
| Built In | Drinking-water faucet on the counter, cartridge under the sink | 8,000 liters | Homes that want a tidy kitchen and a permanent installation |
One faucet-mounted cartridge (900 liters) gives you as much drinking water as about 450 two-liter bottles, so it cuts costs and plastic waste considerably. At 10 liters of filtered water a day, a cartridge lasts about 3 months. For households that use a lot of filtered water for both drinking and cooking, a countertop or built-in model, whose cartridge filters 8,000 liters, gives better value and needs fewer cartridge changes.
Installing and Caring for a Faucet-Mounted Water Purifier
- Remove the existing aerator or sediment filter from the end of the faucet, then choose the fitting in the box that matches your faucet’s thread or size.
- Tighten the fitting securely, then attach the unit to it, following the steps in the manual that comes with it.
- Use filtered mode only for water you will drink or cook with, and switch to tap water for washing dishes. The cartridge will last longer.
- Replace the cartridge every 900 liters, or about every 3 months at 10 L a day. Buy genuine cartridges for faucet-mounted models matched to your unit.
Faucet-Mounted Water Purifier FAQ
Can I drink water from a faucet-mounted water purifier straight away?
Yes, you can drink it without boiling. The unit is designed for tap water: the water passes through a 0.01 micron hollow fiber membrane that traps bacteria, rust, and sediment, and through activated carbon that reduces chlorine and odors.
Which brand of faucet-mounted water purifier is best, and how do I choose?
Look at three things: the number of substances removed under an actual test standard (such as Japan’s JIS S 3201), how fine the filter is, and whether genuine cartridges will stay available. Mitsubishi Cleansui is made in Japan, uses a 0.01 micron membrane, removes 17 substances in its top models, and has an official importer in Thailand that provides a 2-year warranty on the unit.
How often do I need to replace the cartridge?
Every 900 liters, or about every 3 months at 10 liters a day. The EF101, EF102, and EF103 have a display that counts down the water volume; for other models, note the date you replaced the cartridge.
Can I install it myself, and which faucets does it fit?
Yes, you can install it yourself. The box includes fittings in several sizes, both threaded and clamp-on, covering most faucets in Thailand. If you are not sure your faucet will work, send a photo to our team via LINE @cleansuithailand, any day of the week.
How is a faucet-mounted water purifier different from an RO water purifier?
A hollow fiber membrane is a UF system that removes particles and bacteria while keeping the minerals in the water, with no wastewater and no electricity. RO removes almost all minerals, needs a storage tank, and produces wastewater while filtering.
Where can I buy genuine products?
Water Click Co., Ltd. is the sole official importer in Thailand appointed by Mitsubishi Chemical Cleansui of Japan. Models imported for sale in Thailand have an E in the product code, and their boxes and manuals are in English.
